The Scream with Modern Twist

The Scream is like a snapshot of its time, capturing the anxiety of the German people at the time, surrounding the world wars, and acts as a warning of the destruction that was still to come. Kara used this painting as an inspiration and adapted it to capture the anxiety of our times: a world pandemic, which we are all a part of. What is strange is that this tiny bat, an innocent little creature, has the whole world standing still and on its knees, I suppose you could say it’s the worlds most powerful animal at the moment.
