Our Approach with Adults

Enabling and teaching art is one of my greatest passions in life.

When I was in High School I had an art teacher that constantly broke me down and never motivated me to be an artist. In Gr 11 I started feeling despondent and a tiny lie crept into my heart; “Maybe I am not an artist” I started struggling to follow my natural flow and a block started sliding in between myself and my creative self.

One day while doing a workshop that was, not art-related at all, a woman walked up to me took both my hands and said: “I sense the true heart of an artist in you” It was such a profound moment and confirmed my true calling as a creative being – to create.

At our art studio, we believe that all people are creative. We will show you how to let yourself be creative. Creativity is our true nature and creative blocks are unnatural. We are creations. And we, in turn, are meant to continue creativity by being creative ourselves. Once you open yourself to creativity you will experience an exciting and renewed energy throughout your whole life.

All ages are welcome. All you need is a willingness to learn, explore and make mistakes. Our amazing team of art teachers will be here to guide you along – no matter what level of expertise you have.

What is the structure of the classes?

We believe each individual is at their artistic level. What makes our classes unique is that each person is allowed to progress through the curriculum at their speed. We do not do one activity for all students in a class. This also allows you to explore different mediums to your liking.
