The LUKAS brand has 145 years of experience in paint development, creating up to 1862 top quality oil paints for professional artists. This affordable paint is made with a special blend of linseed and sunflower oils and beeswax, giving the smooth, buttery consistency so desired by artists.
The colours cover well, dry evenly on average 2 – 4 days and are free of toxic and caustic pigments. The pigments used to guarantee good levels of lightfastness. No colour has a lower lightfastness than 6- 7 on the international 8-step blue wool scale. When used properly, the risk of cracking of the surface while the colours are drying is minimised.
The range has a well- balanced colour spectrum of 48 colours.
