Results of the NEA Young Artists Awards 2024
On June 15, 2024, the creativity was totally off the charts at the 12th National Eisteddfod Academy Young Artist Awards! Young creators from all over the country came together to show off their incredible skills and unique artistic styles, and it was inspiring to watch.
This prestigious event celebrated young talents in three age categories: Foundation Phase (Grades 0-3), Junior (Grades 4-7), and Senior (Grades 8 – Open). Our students competed across multiple disciplines, including Drawing, Sculpture, Painting, and Printmaking. We are so proud of our students who worked hard to make the semi-finals and ultimately advanced to the finals.
OVERALL CATEGORY WINNERS – 12th National Eisteddfod Academy Young Artist Awards
Huge shoutout to our two absolute superstars who walked away with Category Winner titles at the 12th National Eisteddfod Academy Young Artist Awards! Taking home a top spot is a massive deal, and we are bursting with pride over their incredible talent.
- Alex Fick – Fine Arts Printmaking Grade 2
- Lillian Crawford – Fine Arts Drawing Grade 6
In the Foundation Phase (Grades 0-3), Alex Fick’s masterful work in Fine Arts Printmaking earned him the top spot. His artwork not only captured the judges’ attention but also highlighted a level of precision and dedication that truly stood out in his peer group.
In the Junior category (Grades 4-7), Lillian Crawford’s striking Fine Arts Drawing secured her a well-deserved victory. Her artwork showcased remarkable technical skill, creativity, and a deep passion for her craft.
It just goes to show that amazing talent knows no age limit. We are so excited to watch them keep growing, creating, and doing big things in the art world!

The 12th NEA Young Artists Awards proved one thing: the future of art is in amazing hands! It’s so much more than just a ceremony; it’s a massive celebration of young talent. The hustle, creativity, and passion these kids showed is way beyond their years, and we are completely obsessed with their work!
Giving these young creators a spotlight to shine and chase their artistic dreams is what it’s all about! A massive high-five and heartfelt congrats to all of our incredible finalists, semi-finalists, and winners. This event is the ultimate pat on the back for all their hard work, and we know it’s just going to fuel them to keep leveling up their skills and crushing those creative boundaries!
