Celebrating Our Students at the National Eisteddfod Awards

We are absolutely thrilled to share the phenomenal results from our students’ participation in the National Eisteddfod Academy Awards. This year’s showcase at the Roodepoort Theatre brought together an incredible array of young talent from all over the country, and our artists truly rose to the occasion.

Thanks to the immense dedication, hours in the studio, and pure passion of our students, Lillian Gray Art School has officially been named the No. 2 Art School in the Gauteng Western Region and ranked No. 2 overall across all of Gauteng! It is an unbelievable honor that reflects the hard work of our students.

Item Winners

An Item Winner certificate is presented to the individual who secures the single highest mark for a specific project type within their region. Congratulations to our talented group of item leaders:

Medal Winners

Medals are awarded to students who achieve the highest overall score within an entire collective category rather than just a single item . This requires high marks across multiple technical evaluations . Well done to our category medalists:

Ambassador Awards

The Ambassador Award is a highly selective honor reserved for the top 3% of performers across the entire country. Marked by an exclusive official seal, this prize identifies students who achieved standard-setting marks. We are immensely proud of our national ambassadors:
