National Eisteddfod Awards 2022

Results of the NEA Young Artists Awards 2022

The 10th National Eisteddfod Academy Young Artists Award Ceremony was held on 23 July 2022 at Alice Arts Gallery in Ruimsig. We had eight of our students go through to the final and two won in their category, receiving the Young Artists Award! Wow, We are proud!

All participants were required to submit the same artwork that received a Diploma award during the Nationals the previous year. They were competing in Creative Arts Entry Level and Junior Gr 4-7 in Drawing, Sculpture Printmaking and Photography.

Lillian Gray Art School was well represented by our talented kiddos!

It was another proud moment for us to see our students walk up to accept their Certificates awarded to them for being selected as Semi-Finalist in their category. All their hard work throughout the year was worth it.

We strongly believe in exposing our students to various art competitions. They develop perseverance and confidence. They get the opportunity to learn how to deal with success and failure. They grow as artists!

These skills will truly assist them in life, no matter what career they end up in or the daily challenges they will face.
